JOIN THE BOARD

Apply to join the neighbourhood board.

If you care about Raffles & Morton - and you've ever thought "someone should do something about this" - this is your chance to be that someone. We're putting together the first neighbourhood board, and we'd love you to consider joining us.

You don't need to be an expert, or have done anything like this before. You just need to live locally, care about the area, and be willing to help shape how £20 million is spent here over the next ten years. Have a read, and if it sounds like you, please apply.

- Josh Jenkins, Chair

APPLICATION DEADLINE
Thursday 25 June 2026
RECRUITMENT EVENT
Saturday 27 June 2026, morning
All applicants need to attend - details to follow.

WHAT THE BOARD DOES

Three things, in plain English.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You don't need experience of boards or committees. We're looking for a mix of people who live in Raffles or Morton - different ages, backgrounds and walks of life - who care about the area and can give a few hours a month. Training and support is provided.

HOW TO RETURN YOUR APPLICATION

Once you've completed the application form, send it to:

communitydevelopment@cumberland.gov.uk

If you'd prefer a printed copy of either document, get in touch and we'll arrange one.

NOT QUITE READY?

Email me a reminder to apply.

Leave your name and email and we'll send you a short note with everything you need to know about Pride in Place and the board, plus a link straight back to the application - before the 25 June deadline.
