Stronger communities
Backing the relationships, spaces and groups that bring neighbours together.
Raffles & Morton is one of 169 neighbourhoods chosen for the expanded Pride in Place Programme - a UK Government commitment to the places most often overlooked. Locally, that means £20 million over the next decade, with decisions made here by residents, not Westminster. We're currently recruiting members to join the neighbourhood board.
ABOUT PRIDE IN PLACE
Raffles & Morton is one of 169 neighbourhoods chosen for the expanded Pride in Place Programme - a UK Government commitment of up to £5 billion into 250 places over the next decade. Locally, that means £20 million over ten years for Raffles & Morton, with decisions made here by residents.
Pride in Place moves away from short-term funding pots and councils bidding against each other. It's long-term, hyper-local, and led by the people who live here.
Backing the relationships, spaces and groups that bring neighbours together.
A busier high street, better public spaces, and amenities the area can be proud of.
Decisions about local funding made locally, by a board of residents.
